Cause I've Had a Bad Day. Actually, week.

I am currently experiencing life at several WTFs per hour. Please read today's post with the song below in mind....

Moving on to why I'm actually having a bad day...

I will actually begin with why I'm having a bad week. My poor little man has been running a high fever and has an awful cough. The fever scared this momma and kept me up all night checking on him in his crib at night making sure that the tylenol/ibuprofen were working and keeping his temps down- so I have not had a full night's rest since Saturday night. The docs think it is just one of those nasty viral infections going around and it will take a few days to run its course...the sooner the better, if you ask me. I'm tired of having a sick kid. I know this is the first of many illnesses to come, but my heart just hurts for him so badly when I see him in pain. We had to go yesterday to have his blood drawn and he just cried and stared at me with those precious blue eyes and it was like he was telling me "why are you letting these people hurt me?!?!?!?!"
I cried too. I could not stop crying. Thank god my husband was there to help me because I was a mess.

He is upset in this picture, but it surprisingly wasn't because of the band-aids on both of his arms...it was because he threw his toy down and it magically did not reappear on his lap. Hey, you can't win them all.
To add insult to injury, this morning I put a hellacious dent in my brand new car. It's totally my fault.

I hit a parked car.

Yup, you read that correctly. A parked car in plain sight. I blame my lack of sleep....but I'm upset and have been crying off and on all day today about it. Also to blame for my tears- lack of sleep.

I am hoping and praying that this bad luck ends today. Because I don't know if I have any more tears left to cry!!!
