August POPSUGAR Must Have Box (opening + $10 off!)
That anticipation had a LONG time to build while I waited for my August POPSUGAR Must Have Box to arrive. Long story short: I had to move to a temporary apartment for the month of August, and USPS decided not to forward any of my mail. -_- It wasn’t until Tuesday evening that I figured out where the package was- yay!- so I picked it up yesterday and began rapidly taking pictures. I LOVE getting these POPSUGAR Must Have Boxes, so I really wanted to share August’s with you guys.

I was SO excited to see that I received the necklace in my box- this delicate, black and gold stone pendant necklace is 100% me. I believe you could receive either a pair of earrings (in this same style) or the necklace. This came with care instructions and a code for 20% off a purchase.
How cute would this cookie mix be if it were packed in the REAL mason jar? You’re right, that’s probably not very “shipping friendly”, so I think this mason-jar-bag-lookalike is the next best thing. I cannot WAIT to bake these, they look so fun!
I haven’t had a chance to use this yet, but it smells fresh and feminine: strong floral notes and softened by a clean, almost powdery base. I always love trying new “luxe” body products that I wouldn’t otherwise spend the money on.
Bite Beauty is a brand that has been especially tempting to me this past month, so I was SO eager to test out this Lush Fruit lip gloss. About the bright pink shade: fear not- it sheers out considerably when applied to lips (see swatch above), and is perfect for daytime wear. As far as first impressions go, it’s a comfortable, non-sticky, yummy-smelling gloss.
This reusable tupperware set looks perfect for packing quick snacks. I love that there is a separate container for dip or dressing- vegetables and hummus, maybe? You could also fit a small wrap in one of the sections, which is cool. I received a fun bento box set in a previous POPSUGAR box, so I’m starting to think if you sign up for enough of these boxes, you’ll be able to snack in some serious style.
I love that they included a candle in this box! This Ocean Tide Sea Salt scent reminds me a bit of my favorite perfume, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia. It has a fresh, clean, “beach day” quality that is perfect to help soak up the last few weeks of summer.
I haven’t tried this yet, but from reading other August box reviews, it appears to be tasty! Plus, 20g of protein seems like a lot for a snack bar (I don’t eat these that much, though, so it might be the norm- I’m not sure!).
Overall: I’ve said this already, but I love the POPSUGAR Must Have Boxes. They really are one of the best subscription boxes in terms of range of products (food, beauty, style, home), and the quality is consistently top notch. At $39.95/month, they are priced a bit higher than some other boxes out there, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for.
