The Awesome Link Up: December Edition
Welcome to the December edition of The Awesome Link Up. December is a pretty awesome month alone but throw in all of the seasonal goodness and it's downright wonderful. Know what I find awesome this time of year?
1. Picking out the perfect Christmas trees. My house has two bay windows in the front and begs for a Christmas tree in each window. I love wandering through the fields of the Christmas tree farm and finding the perfect ones.
2. Finding the perfect gift for someone.
3. Drinking cocoa by the fire (bonus points for a real fire in the fireplace vs. the gas fireplace).
4. Decorating the Christmas tree and reliving memories attached to each ornament.
5. The way the sky looks at night after a snowstorm. Pinks and purples mixed in...love it!
6. The deep sigh of relief that comes from knowing that you are fully decorated for the holidays.
7. Going to bed on Christmas Eve. Even as an adult I still love the anticipation and magic of Christmas morning.
8. Baking cookies with my daughters and parents because it is a tradition.
9. The week between Christmas and New Year's...can you say vacation from school/work? :)
10. Having all the family together for two nights of celebration (Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). There's nothing better than spending the holidays with those you love.
