Design: Cosmic Bath & Beauty

I was absolutely thrilled to get to work with Michelle and create a really beautiful brand identity for Cosmic Bath & Beauty. I've admired Michelle's commitment to natural cosmetics and body care goods for a while now (her eyeshadows are a staple in my makeup routine) - so I was totally stoked to get an email from her earlier this year!

We strived to bring Cosmic to life in a celestial, earthy, feminine, slightly edgy way - drawing mega inspiration from florals, gems, metals, and the sky to achieve a truly magical vibe. (Florence & The Machine was also an inspiration for me while designing this project) The key was creating a lot of different variations that Michelle could pull from for web, product packaging, and various digital & print materials, while still keeping the entire brand cohesive. There are a variety of jewel tones that we used - purples, blues, and reds - while silver metals served as our base. And getting to use this floral photograph from my own collection was really awesome.

I think we achieved something so stunning and ethereal, yet strong and fierce. Almost otherworldly. Rad stuff!
