London Fashion Week AW15 – Beauty Trends

As the fashion week relay moves on to Milan and Paris, let us take a look at some of the makeup trends that we covet for AW15.

Giles

Statement lips 2.0. A matte Gothic lip was at the centre of the Giles show makeup. Skin was natural, with refreshing contouring at cheeks and eyes.

Try: MAC Lipstick in ‘Smoked Purple’ to get the light version of this look.

Burberry Prorsum

A beautiful, subtle smokey eye, in hues of grey, brown and khaki. The combination of earthy tones makes this look softer than black would; and focusing on underneath the eye adds a nice twist to the look.

Mary Katrantzou

Pierrot-like eyes, with accent mascara and liner at the centre of the lower lash line, made up the makeup look at Mary Katrantzou. Very cute, and a bit of a headturner. Make this feature more wearable by skipping the mascara and just applying a “dot” of eyeliner.

Christopher Kane

Natural skin with a healthy glow, paired with groomed brows and a dash of lip gloss. To achieve a perfectly even complexion like this, use a primer with blur effect underneath your regular face base.
