Last Friday morning the Miller Building, erected in front of the dock in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, woke up with a remarkable hustle. Accustomed to contemplate in silence the coming and going of cruise ships, this day he witnessed the division of its interiors into 94 unequal spaces to accommodate the largest trend festival on the Canary Islands, Fashion & Friends.

El pasado viernes por la mañana el Edificio Miller, erigido frente al muelle de las Palmas de Gran Canaria, despertaba con un notable ajetreo. Acostumbrado a contemplar en silencio el ir y venir de barcos y cruceros, este día se volvía testigo de la división de sus interiores en 94 espacios desiguales para albergar el mayor festival de tendencias de Canarias, Fashion & Friends.
In this third edition of the event attended exhibitors from fashion companies, aesthetics, tourism, decoration, photography. The courtyards of the building housed the food stalls and the gardens became inviting picnic area to take a break between visits of pop up stores and extensive talks, trainings, master classes, fashion shows and concerts.

En esta tercera edición del evento, acudieron expositores de empresas de moda, estética, turismo, decoración, fotografía. Los patios del edificio albergaron los puestos de gastronomía y sus jardines se convirtieron en zona picnic que invitaban a tomar un descanso entre las visitas de las pop up stores y el amplio programa de formación, masterclass, desfiles y conciertos.
In this dynamic environment that offers the opportunity for emerging entrepreneurs to present their work, I was honored to participate as ambassador of Matriskin. The French line of cosmeceuticals landed less than a year ago to the Canaries. This brand, well-known among celebrities wanted to get closer to festival visitors through their Masterclass in basic skin care, personalized advice from the prestigious French beauty expert, Mrs. Laura Jacquement {pictured below} and testing of the “flash” treatments that rejuvenates the skin in just 15 minutes.

En este ambiente dinámico que ofrece la oportunidad a emprendedores emergentes a dar a conocer su trabajo, tuve el honor de participar como embajadora de Matriskin. La linea francesa de cosmecéuticos que apenas hace un año ha llegado a Canarias. Esta marca, muy conocida entre las celebrities ha querido acercarse a los visitantes del festival a través de sus Masterclass en cuidados básicos para la piel, la asesoría personalizada de la prestigiosa esteticien francesa, Doña Laura Jacquement {abajo en la foto conmigo} y la aplicación del tratamiento “flash” que deja el rostro luminoso y rejuvenecido en apenas 15 minutos.
The three-day event was an emotional opportunity for render-vouz with old good friends, friends of my #fashionladies community Matriskin fans and lovely blog readers. It’s exciting when two passions such as fashion and friends converge. The alchemy and the magic of the moment are overwhelming. And I feel lucky, grateful and happy to have been at that precious moment in that place.

Los tres días del evento fueron una emotiva oportunidad de re-encuentros con viejos buenos amigos, amigas de la comunidad #fashionladies, fans de Matriskin y lector@s del blog. Es emocionante cuando dos pasiones como la moda y los amigos convergen. La alquimia y la magia del momento son arrolladoras. A mi me hacen sentir afortunada, agradecida y feliz por haberme encontrado en aquel instante en aquel lugar.
