The industrial home of Paola Navone in Milano

Last week I already showed you some pictures I made at the party at Paola Navone's home during Milan design week, today some beautiful pictures that were published in NY magazine last year. Her home in Milan is located on the top floor of Paola's studio at the Tortona district in Milan. The last few steps of the stairs leading to her private area are covered with inlaid pebbles, just like the old streets in Milan, giving you a sneak peek of what is waiting for you inside.

Also inside the floor is covered with inlaid pebbles in combination with grey and aqua blue tiles and green and blue tiles in the dinner area at the back. I think Paola is a real master in creating exciting floors and combining different materials, one of the things I love most about the homes she designed for herself and others.

The terrace is completely made with inlaid pebbles and runs on both sides of the living space and host beautiful plants and greyish grasses... there is so much to see and the home is a true inspiration filled with collections of vases and plates her own design and lots of chairs.
Looking all the way through the home there is a large bedroom with bath and sauna, covered in blue ceramic pieces like you see in the picture below on the table and a guest bedroom.

the kitchen with red hanging lamps found on a Chinese market
The tiger raffia lamps are designed by Paola for Crate and Barrel and so are the legs of the table, on the last picture the facade of her home ad studio.
