July Empties

Ahh, and as I always seem to start these posts; it's time for another empties post. I seem to have gathered quite a collection this month, but I am trying to use things up in preperation for moving out again, but more on that later. PS, be warned; this is going to be a long one. The first empty is the Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Toner. A simple toner that does it's job; I wouldn't say it has impressed me or unimpressed me if I'm honest. The cucumber scent is nice and cooling to the skin, but quite harsh around my sensitive eyes so I probably wouldn't repurchase this. Next up is the L'Oreal Skin Perfection Radiance Revealing Gentle Exfoliator. I definitely have enjoyed using this, and found it did seem to make my skin brighter. It was also gentle on my skin, and hasn't caused any reaction. My skin was left smooth after use, and definitely not tight. Would I repurchase? Yes I would, but I am currently enjoying the St Ives Scrub which I think I prefer. I have written a review on the St Ives one if that's something you're interested in. Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream is a moisturiser I have been using as my evening moisturiser, that I can't rave about enough. I wake up in the mornings, and my skin looks brighter, and feels lovely and soft. I have written a review on this, and mentioned it a fair bit so won't say too much, but it is a product I would definitely consider repurchasing.

Ahh, another toner; The Body Shop Seaweed Clarifying Toner, one I wanted to love but it just didn't work with my skin. I found it too strong for my sensitive skin, similarly to the Boots Essential one, it was particularly bad around my eyes. If your skin isn't sensitive this could work for you, but would I personally repurchase? No, sadly. The Soap & Glory Orangeasm Body Wash is another love from me. I genuinely love Soap & Glory body washes anyway so purchased this as soon as I spotted the new scent. It foams easy creating a nice lather, and does it's job whilst smelling gorgeous. The scent is a zingy orange, but it isn't too overpowering. Would I repuchase? Definitely. The Wilkinson Citrus Instant Hand Sanitiser is a lovely hand sanitiser that cleans my hands, without leaving any residue. It is also a bargain product costing only 50p. Sadly I think it might have been discontinued as I can't seem to find it anywhere, but if I could this is another product I would repurchase. The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Scrub is an amazing sugar based scrub. It easily gets rid of any dead skin and leaves my skin lovely and soft. It also smells amazing. Would I repurchase? If they hadn't discontinued the Sweet Lemon range then it would be a definite yes. I tracked this down in a sale if you were wondering. A product I haven't photgraphed as I always seem to forget to keep them for this post is The Body Shop Shower Gels. Alongside the Soap & Glory Body Washes these are my favourite shower gels. I find they foam easily, smell gorgeous and leave my skin lovely and soft. I have recently gone through the Almond, Sweet Lemon, and Blueberry ones. Would I repurchase them? Yes.

Next up is the Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion. I mentioned this in my recent sample testing post, but in a sentence this is a luxurious toner that is thicker than most and gets rid of any leftover residue. I have been loving this product; would I repuchase? If I can get over the full size price then yes I would. Aww, this one I am gutted about finishing. The Nars Radiant Concealer is a thick and creamy concealer that is multi-purpose. It works well at both concealing under-eye bags and any blemishes, and lasts all day. I absolutely love this, and think this is definitely my favourite concealer to date. Would I repurchase? Yes, of course. The Body Shop Shea Body Scrub is another sugar based scrub from The Body Shop that is very effective at it's job. I love the texture, but the Shea is one scent that I can't seem to love, even though it's neutral. Would I repurchase? I can't decide. The Clinique Super-primer Colour Corrects Redness is a primer I have finally used up. It helps cover any redness whilst ensuring your makeup lasts all day. It is quite an odd texture I think, but it does sink in easily and do it's job amazingly. Would I repurchase? Another yes. Lastly is the Clairol CC Colourseal Conditioner. I actually got this with my hairdye, but it can be purchased seperately for only 99p. I am going to go as far to say this is my favourite conditioning mask I have ever used. You leave it in for a few minutes and then rinse it out. This leaves my hair so so soft, and silky. I love it. Would I repuchase? Definitely. And that's the end of my July Empties. If you managed to get to the end of this post I am impressed haha. There were a lot of empties this month for me. What have you been using up lately?
