Beautiful Little Fool in Boots

It rained this morning, and it was actually cloudy yesterday so I think it might finally be fall. Pretty exciting stuff. To welcome the first legitimate chill, I wore my super duper cozy Wildfox sweater. I might have to toss all my other sweaters out and only wear these, they’re just the perfect amount of worn in, cozy, perfection. I’m still wearing it a day later as I write this btw. I know Wildfox can be pricey, which is why I snagged mine from Saks Off 5th a few weekends ago for around $50. They’re actually doing another sale right now so you can get it for around that price.

Now let’s talk about my boots because this is a magical story. The weekend of my birthday, I decided I wanted boots, and my mom, being the sale queen that she is, suggested we take a quick peak at the Camarillo Outlets. Pre-shopping, the boots I loved were of the Stuart Weitzman lowland variety and the plan was to hit up Saks Off 5th and Neiman Marcus’s Last Call in hopes of a look alike on sale. On a whim we spotted Barney’s outlet store first. What happened next will make shoe sale history.

Alexander Wang has been putting this adorable indent into some of his boot heels, and I’m really into it, so when I spotted this pair of boots, just sitting on display, I immediately knew what they were and knew they were out of my price range. And retailing for $1,050, I’d be right. Don’t ask me why, because these gorgeous boot are still selling retail on Alexander Wang AND at Neiman Marcus, but for some reason, Barney’s had knocked them down to five hundred and something dollars. And then, there was an extra 40% off and suddenly they were less than $350 and a split birthday present from my grandma and parents. Like I said, magical.
