Keukenhof flowers photography

If you follow my Instagram, you saw me posting from our trip to Keukenhof, where we went as a part of our outdoor photography project. Keukenhof is a flowers park somewhere between The Hague and Amsterdam, and in late March till early May it’s full with blooming flowers of all sorts, and especially tulips. It’s an amazing place, and if you come there, you will surely find yourself taking dozillions of photos at some point.

Flowers of all shapes, colors and sizes, flower galleries, waterfall gardens, quiet forest paths, even a small zoo corner where you can get inside and pet the animals – you’ll find it all there. I think we spent in Keukenhof about 7 hours, walking around and taking pictures. My husband was working with the Canon, so I was left with my phone (I’m dying to buy me a camera too now!), but I couldn’t help it and took tons of photos too. Everything you see in this post was taken with my phone (exept of the last shot my hubby made of me). I’ll be surely uploading some of these photos for sale at Clashot!

Interesting note – everytime we went to take photos of some particular flower, we were immidiately followed by people who were minding their own business just seconds before that. Whithing seconds some 5-6 ladies or gentlemen were standing behind us, eager to take photos of the same flowers we were photographing, and at this exact moment please! I guess they were afraid to miss the most beautiful spots, that others discovered.

The weather was a bit freezing in the beginning, but at some point the sun started to shine like crazy (making the my husband somewhat upset about the harsh shadows), but I enjoyed every moment of it! My legs refused to walk at some point though, as you see on the last photo Our next stop would be bicycle ride into the hart of tulip fields.
