A Case for Spectacular Wedding Shoes

On your big day, the wedding dress is important, of course. But the details should not be overlooked, and that includes your bridal shoes. Frankly, in this writer’s opinion, they may even be more important than the gown. (Stay with me here. I’ll make my case, I promise.)

Let’s think about the dress for a moment. It sets the tone for your individual style, yes, and it’s certainly the first thing everyone will be looking at during the main event. But the shoes? The shoes are uniquely for you. They’ll support you quite literally throughout the day. Invest in a great pair, and they’ll walk you down the aisle, stand as you greet guests, and let you tear up the dance floor well into the evening hours. And best of all, you’ll wear them again. Let me say that one more time: You’ll. Wear. Them. Again. The same cannot be said for the dress, no matter how much you treasure and adore it. It will be cleaned and preserved and tucked away in a closet. Your shoes will remind you of that happiest day every time you pull them out for a fancy affair or date night with your hubby.
