Alder New York

Nina and David of Alder New York have crafted a crazy cool brand that's designed in a shared studio space near the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The Pratt graduates started their label just a few short seasons ago and if you recognize the name it's likely not for the clothes—though their clothes are great—but the duo's all-natural grooming line, which literally got its start in Nina's kitchen and includes lip balms and their much-lauded hair powders. (Or, maybe, you recognize the name because you pinned/reblogged their chambray suit and turtleneck from the blog last fall?)

Their Spring/Summer '14 collection was inspired by collegiate sports (aka Abercrombie & Fitch catalogs aka hot dudes in "action".) I'm wearing their wonderfully homoerotic wrestling t-shirt underneath a totally awesome cutout letter denim shirt with leather boxing shorts. The bucket hat you may recall seeing on my Instagram, where I was spotted in it at the Frank & Oak preview two seasons ago; the sunnies are Warby Parker.
