Another Unisex Line You Need to Know Now

I came across 1205 in a really weird, internet-y way. One of my co-workers was looking at Net-a-Porter's latest Edit in the office and I determined to check it out when I got home later that night, just to see what fun ladies things were out in the world. I ended up pressing back or forward or maybe both at the same time and suddenly I was looking at an issue from early April with 1205 smack dab in the middle of the screen. I instantly got a major fashion boner and set about Googling the crap out of the line, which I then discovered to be unisex (and totally awesome).

Designed by Paula Gerbase, coming off a 5-year tenure with Kilgour on Savile Row, 1205 "was spurned by a need for timeless and utilitarian clothing," reads the brand's website. "The collection features menswear and womenswear with a strong emphasis on the idea of a unisex wardrobe...the deconstruction of tailored norms (puts the) focus on considered design, thoughtful fabric choices, precision and purity."

I'd suggest somewhere to at least digi-window shop the collection, but the Net-a-Porter shop just says, 'Coming Soon'. The site says DSMNY is a stockist, but I could really see this on The Line—here's hoping it gets picked up! You can read an interview with Gerbase here and find out more about the label's AW14 runway show here. Want more unisex? Read up on designer Yulia Yefimtchuk here. All runway photos via Vogue UK.
