Bonjour!
Hello everyone! Long time no update! I never actually intended to stop writing, but once I did I found it really difficult to get back into the swing of things! I have updated this blog at least once a month since it's creation. So to go almost 3 months without an update has made me feel a little bit defeated, boo!
You may have noticed the redesign. I wanted to keep everything very clean and simple. My old design was a massive distraction, I made the mistake of throwing absolutely everything I liked in a blog design into one and made a bit of a mess. I'm happy with it now, so hopefully it will stick :) Do have a click around and check out all of the shiny new pages!
The blog name Rose & Whimsy will not be sticking around for much longer, either. Not because I dislike the name (because I do like it, I think it's pretty) but because it does not represent me or my life, anymore. It no longer 'fits', so I'm going to be moving away from that. I know what the new name will be, I just haven't got around to changing it yet (and probably won't until the new year). Not to worry, further changes won't affect the blog or how you follow it! and I'm definitely not going to be one of those people who changes their site name every other day. Once I've changed it then that's the change I'm going to stick with.
Since I last updated I have moved jobs. I'm provided with more challenges, I have more responsibility and the opportunities that are coming my way are fantastic. I'm really enjoying it! (even if I am absolutely shattered on the daily!) It does eat up the majority of my time and I'm still trying to find new ways to balance this change with all of the other responsibilities in my life but I do see a light at the end of the tunnel. It's all about making the most of the spare time that you do have. Thank goodness I'm not an investment banker!
I'll leave it there for now, this is all getting a little too text heavy for my liking! I have plenty more to share with you in the coming weeks but for now, it feels good to be back on the blogging train again. I hope you've all been well!x
