Life works in mysterious ways. Just when I reach my breaking point, reality hits me with clarity and realizations.

My recent experience working in an environment not suited for me makes me appreciate and value when a good opportunity comes along the way. I’ve started to understand that there are still people out there who genuinely care about my success. These people have made me lose the doubt in my decision to step out of my comfort zone, and most especially, the doubt I had in myself.

When something good comes along, the first thing we often do is question its existence and become skeptical of its purpose. But as cliché as it may sound, everything happens for a reason, and that’s why life gives us the good, the bad, and the ugly. When the good does happen, we’re ready and appreciative of its worth.

This experience has taught me that I can be happy, and that I have every right to be. We all deserve the good in life and everything that goes along with it. Just sometimes, you got to learn to say, “Fuck it,” and just be happy. As Paulo Coelho once said, “You deserve all the good things that happen to you. Don’t feel guilty and accept the blessings.”
