Knock on Wood (Lilyanne Nguyen)

I’m going to state the obvious here, but the best part about being on a shopping ban (aside from saving money, of course) is getting more wear out of the clothes I already own. This is a large step for me, as I used to be the type of person that shopped to distract myself, but like most things, that never lasted long. It was like a bad fuck, and when it was over I was left broke with too much crap I didn’t need. On the bright side, at least my crap was good crap. Nevertheless, I’m glad I’ve learned to appreciate what I have, and this goes beyond just clothes.

That being said, I do love a good watch. I’m one of the few that still wears a wristwatch, and in keeping with my shopping ban, you can imagine how happy I was when the kind folks over at JORD offered to gift me my very own wood watch.
