Sneak Peek: Avon’s Ultra Color Absolute Lipsticks

Every day I wear a different lipstick. That’s just how I roll. But this week, something happened. I wore a colour two days in a row. Ground-breaking right? That rarely, and I mean rarely, happens. The lipstick in question is from Avon. It’s called Pure Orchid, a lovely bright purplish fuchsia pink. I love how it looks, and I love how it feels and I can’t stop wearing it!

Pure Orchid is an Ultra Color Absolute lipstick, a new line that is being released by Avon next month. I’ve received so many great compliments when wearing this colour.

These lipsticks, my friends, are a must-try.

Here’s a look at Radiant Raisin, a dark vampy purple.

And here’s Creamy Melon, a soft coral/melon.

I am in love with all three. Pure Orchid and Radiant Raisin are right on trend this winter, and I can see myself using Creamy Melon in the summer. The lipsticks offer rich, saturated colour. On the lips, these offer medium coverage, glide on smoothly and feel super comfortable on. They contain a lot of moisturizing ingredients, as well as antioxidants and SPF 15, and don’t feather or bleed.

I have a lot of friends and family who don’t think of Avon as a go-to makeup brand. I’m here to say, friends, you need to start paying closer attention. The more I’ve been exposed to products from the brand, the more I’ve been impressed by the quality, the variety and the ongoing innovation. For the record, they did not pay me to say this. Word.
