Girl About Town

I went shopping a few weeks ago, and a blazer caught my attention. It caught my attention because I thought, hey I have the perfect lipstick to wear with that. Lipstick junkie or what? Who does that?!

The jacket is quite fab, and is from Jones New York, priced normally at $200 but I got for $40. It looks great paired with a pencil skirt, slim cut black pants and skinny jeans. I love the tweed pattern of camel, black and hot pink.

Now, the lipstick. The one that came to mind right away is one of my all-time favourites: MAC’s Girl About Town. If you don’t have this lipstick, get thee to a MAC counter. It is universally flattering in my view.

I love the combo of the lipstick with this jacket.

Girl About Town, however, isn’t the only lipstick that works with this jacket. I found so many others. Alternatively I think the jacket would also look great paired with a nude lip and smokey eye makeup. So overall, I’m pleased with my purchase.

Ever buy anything based on what makeup you could probably wear with it? Or am I the crazy one? ;-)
