Shopping My Stash: A little love for Dior and Chanel

I tried to shake things up and move away from my fascination with monochromatic, understated makeup. I did this by showing some love to two often neglected lipsticks in my collection. I’m not sure why I don’t give these two lipsticks more love — especially considering how much of a splurge they both were when I got them a year or two ago. The two lipsticks are: Chanel’s Romantic and Dior’s Diablotine Extreme.

Chanel’s Rouge Allure in Romantic lipstick is a beauty. The colour is a berry red that is totally wearable. Read my original review here. The day I wore this, I got many a compliment. It’s a colour that instantly brightens the face.

Same deal with Dior’s Dior Addict lipstick in Diablotine Extreme. This is a beautiful,bright and extremely wearable coral/orangey red, previously reviewed here. This also feels super comfortable on, and perfect for spring.

I’m hoping that by sporting brighter lip colours and more ‘springy’ outfits, the warmer weather will soon follow. A girl can wish right? What will the rest of the week bring?
