Lingerie for Tomboys – Foxers

You know how they say you should always wear nice underwear in case you get hit by a bus? Well, I’m that person who turns up to the emergency room – unnecessarily with a stomach ache – in daggy long johns and tattered ugg boots. Long story short, I’ve never been one to care who sees what state my unmentionables are in. I’m not even joking when I say that my underwear drawer comprises of Peter Alexander cotton panties printed with the days of the week (I wear them out of order sometimes just to keep things interesting). It’s not that I don’t like to wear pretty undies; I’m just not girly girl enough to suffer a wedgy, itchy lace and under-wires just to look good semi-naked.

Given that little bit of over share, you know I must be pretty darn impressed with FOXERS for me to not only write about them on my blog, but *gasp* model them, as well! …Or not. I dare you to prove that these are actually photos of me.

What are FOXERS? They are boxers for girls (and tomboys like yours truly) - ‘a patented design combining the band from mens boxer shorts, with sexy, colourful underwear for women‘. Invented by lingerie designer April Spring while wearing her husbands boxers (who hasn’t done that before?), they’ve gone cult in North America, and now FOXERS is being introduced to Australia by FOXERS Australia – a Canberra based company. Thanks to lovely Belinda from FOXERS Australia for hooking me up with a few of their beautiful pieces.

Now, I could go on about how celebs love and wear FOXERS, and that they’ve been the talk of mags and blogs all over the world, but let’s just cut to the chase: are they comfortable? Hells, yeah! No wedgy, no underwear crease and the comfy material molds perfect to the body.

As for the look, they are beyond cute. FOXERS’ Lace Boxers, Boxer Briefs and Lace Camisoles were love at first sight for me. I love the contrast of the boy-style thick elastic bands and delicate lace. They are exactly the kind of sexy-not-sexy that I’m into. I’m completely hooked!
