I’m one of those short hair girls now

For a long time now I’ve been longing for short hair. By now those of you who follow me on instagram have probably gotten sick and tired of my indecisiveness about the chop. But finally, like most of my hair related decisions, switching to short hair was spur of the moment and happened on vacation (yes I’m still takling about hair). This one was during my trip to Melbourne on the weekend to attend the Stage Label Launch. It’s yet another huge change, much like when I went blonde (and indeed, when I grew out my natural colour).

Thanks to Adam (Adam Liew Haute Couture) for introducing me to a great hair dresser in Melbourne - which turned out to be Super Cuts of all places, but the cut was absolutely amazing. My hair stylist completely understood the blunt, messy and unstructured look I was looking for.

Seeing my long golden locks strewn all over the floor was a little bit surreal, but I guarantee my hair appointment was no repeat of a Next Top Model makeover day. No tears for inanimate objects here, or for fear of looking like a boy. It felt altogether liberating.

I would highly recommend it.
