Maria & Gavin 20130803 { Motala }

This amazing vintage/20′s/DIY-inspired wedding took place on Maria’s childhood home, the farm Härseby Gård just outside Motala on the hottest day of the summer so far. Maria & Gavin are the fantastic physicist couple that met in London during their studies and I was amazed when I got to look into the book of Maria’s PhD project while we were crafting (!) together just one hour before the ceremony. A completely different world of studies from mine, and it was great to see Maria’s crafty side as well as she had created all the details for the wedding. Maria & Gavin got married by the lake Boren and half of the guests came from England. Lots of love, warmth and a stunning vintage dress that earlier had been worn by Maria’s mum among many.
