Easy Iced Latte Recipe

In the summer when it's warm I substitute hot coffees for iced lattes and frappucinos. Up until Friday I always went out and bought my iced lattes from a coffee shop but I found a recipe on the Starbucks Facebook page that sounded really easy so decided to try it myself!

It's really easy. You just need some milk, some coffee, and an ice tray . I started by making some seriously strong coffee, adding 2/3 of a cup of water and 6 teaspoons of freshly ground coffee to a cafetiere (you can use instant if it's easier). This will make enough coffee for around twelve ice cubes. I leave the coffee to brew for about 5 minutes and push down the plunger, and then wait for it to cool before pouring the mixture into an ice tray. Just freeze the ice cubes and then add them to a fresh glass of milk. I like them a latte!

Will you be trying any iced lattes this summer?
