His and Hers

Although I have zero restriction on my beauty stash, and my dear husband has access to all of it in case anything catches his fancy, there a few of these lucky ones which he would sometimes pick, read on the front, turn it over take a good look (probably looking for a term which would indicate “female only”) and then take the tiniest amount and use.

Since he is the source for all my ridiculous spending on beauty products, he knows better than to spurt out more than he needs and uses things pretty carefully which I am so glad and thankful for! :P Although the subjects for this post aren’t the most expensive of products (not even close LOL) but still my guy is pretty economical!

1. Shampoo : Both of us love this unscented and no-fuss number from John Masters. I had actually purchased this for him, because of the “Unscented” and “Natural” tags, but of course he never bothered and it was me who popped open the new bottle! I insisted on him using it and now he is a convert! Review here.

2. Nuxe Reve de Miel : Both of us suffer from chronic dry lips and this is our savior. There is one in my bag and one “on” the bed in case we have to use it in the middle of the night! Thankfully its not a tough one to get, because this is indispensable!

3. L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream : This tube is a must have just as the lip balm. Both of us have dry hands and I had a lot of convincing to do before he would touch it. It smells powdery so its used only at night but thats enough to undo the day’s damage!

4. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunblock : I had to get him to use this everyday! A lot of wrinkle and skin cancer scare went in to convince, but now things happen automatically! Both of us use it in the mornings and its now a mindless routine.

5. Nivea Creme : Good’ol Nivea gets a lot of love in our house. Its mostly he who uses it as I have more fancy stuff in its place :P . Tiny amount of this warmed and an applied on frizzy hair and it gives it grit and shine!

6. Lush Rub Rub Rub : This is our favorite bathroom product! Without disclosing more intimate details on a public platform, this is an excellent mutual spa session product! Love it, makes skin shiny and smooth as glass!
