My Dresser and Makeup Storage

I am really excited to finally post pictures of my new dresser! We bought the dresser from FabIndia last month and for some of the other engagement I wasn’t able to organize it. Besides, I had a brass-and-wood theme in mind so was waiting to get my hands on some vintage brass ware to keep on top of it.

Last month when I was visiting my parents, I bought a pretty vintage tray to keep my everyday makeup and skincare and a very old jewelry box from a thrift store. They complement the dresser perfectly in my opinion and I am really happy with how everything looks now. I really like that the dresser fits perfectly next to the window so I have ample light while I do my makeup. I need to fix some lights on top of the mirror but that will have to wait. I am trying my best not to clutter it and keep all the rest of the makeup in boxes inside my wardrobe.

The large mirror was from FabIndia too, but the first one we got was defective and then we had to wait for two more weeks for it to be replaced! I sadly have just one of the drawers to myself which has my extras, while the other drawer has all the “His” stuff. I also had to buy small boxes for the drawer and luckily all four of them fit perfectly and take up exactly the size of the drawer. This drawer store my samples, extra skincare, nail tools and my cotton and face towels.

All I need now are some flowers and we are set!
