Yoga | The Yoga Nest

A peek at a Blogger's Yoga Event that I attended a little while ago at The Yoga Nest in East London.

A few weeks ago, Sarah from The Laughing Medusa got in touch to ask me if I'd like to attend a blogger's yoga event in East London.

Um... bloggers yoga?

HECK YEAH!

The Yoga Nest in East London forms part of the East London Community Wellbeing project. It's a beautiful light and airy space located on 27 Old Ford Road with a cute little cafe, and great vintage shops next door! Our class was led by Holly - and I absolutely loved everything about it! She catered so well to the different levels and needs within the class and made such good adjustments and alignment corrections where necessary.

There were five bloggers who came to get their yogi-on - Sarah from The Prosecco Diaries, Sade from In My Sunday Best and Sasha from The Life Wardrobe. It was great to catch up with Sarah again and also to meet two new faces in the blogging world!

After our 60 minute vinyasa flow class, we feasted on a delicious vegan spread prepared for us by The Gallery Cafe. Vegan cakes... SO good. There was plenty of time to chat and pick Holly's Yogi-brain (which I totally did haha!! We also got an epic healthy-goodie bag with treats from Napiers Herbs (amazing hand cream!) Miso Tasty, tea pigs and rude health (I'm dying to try their drinking oats - will let you know when I do!)

The aim of the East London Community Wellbeing centre is to provide low cost classes, workshops and events to support and empower the local community. So if you are in the area pop over to check out the different events they have on offer - or take a peek at their website!

Thank you so much to Sarah for inviting me, To The Gallery Cafe for the delicious food and to Holly for the awesome yoga-class! Was such a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
