I’ve been adding my own bit of paris into our home for the past couple of months. I’ve grown to really liking the whole parisienne theme and I’ve tried to add it into our decor bit by bit, mixing in with my decor taste.
Dunelm has a nice collection of Paris themed decorative items, so I’m always picking up something new when I go. Dunelm’s Eiffel Tower Candle Holder from their Nouveau Collection looks quite classic and blends well with my monochrome decorative accessories in my living room. It’s currently sat by my TV, but I’m yet to decide whether I want to remove the added charms or not.
I love how sleek this looks on my bedside table. If there’s anything that makes you think Paris, it’s the Eiffel Tower.
Another thing I’ve been obsessed over lately, is the use of initials. I’m trying to find as many initial ‘A’ ceramic or wooden signs as I can. I love how they look clustered together.
I love vintage style apothecary perfume bottles, and this one is no exception. They look great in the bedroom or on the bathroom top.
Another item from my shop, is our Kettle Style Tin Jug. I love the distressed edges and worn look of this.
Possibly one of my best looking books I own, the Laudree Savoury Recipe book is full to the brim of french recipes. With such sweet, wonderful pictures of cakes, biscuits, pastries and macarons – I love flicking through this for ideas on what to bake and cook next.
Anyone else like me, been decorating with paris home accessories? I think you have to get just the right balance.
