Breezing By
Forget stilettoes and suits, for me the ultimate in power dressing is a long trench on a windy day. I defy anyone to not get swept up in the theatricality of an ankle-length coat whipping up behind you as you walk. I’m also forever a sucker for the contrast of long over short and this is the perfect time of year to take full advantage of one of my favourite silhouettes.
Working for yourself means workwear is something of a redundant term. Instead, loungewear has become part of my vocabulary and I can often be found working away at my kitchen table in leggings and a hoodie. But sometimes, we self-employed want to feel like we mean business too and this is as close to suited and booted as I come.
