Falling Leaves

Spring is traditionally seen as the most transformative season… chicks hatching, flowers blooming, Spring cleaning etc etc. But I kind of think Autumn might beat Spring. It’s the time of year we all start bedding down, taking stock and generally have more time to think and reflect after the crazy business of Summer. If you flip the whole thing on its head, the trees going bare and nights drawing in can actually be a positive, rather than the depressing, downbeat negative we often define poor Autumn with.

Think ribbed knitwear, quiet walks, salty wind in your hair, well-thumbed books, flickering candles, plenty of time behind drawn curtains and you’ll be on your way to relishing this strangely restorative time of year.
