Solo Stroll

Often times people ask me how I travel alone without getting lonely.

The answer is pretty simple.

Keep yourself busy, immersed into whatever it is that you are surrounded with. Being alone can present you with experiences that you wouldn’t otherwise be offered when coupled up. I regularly find myself taking an extra moment to breathe in the smell of freshly bake pretzels or the sounds of a piano bar in the distance when I am alone. I also find myself engaging in interesting conversations that organically present themselves based off the fact that I am solo. Don’t get me wrong, there’s not place like home. However, there is also no place in this world sweeter than the moments that you can truly experience with the inner depths of ones self.
