Remember when I was eyeing this cute camel coat from TopShop last week?

Well guess what!? I pulled the trigger & am super happy that I did. The TopShop section at Nordstrom always has a great selection of must have basics that add a very strong element of “trend without trying too hard” to my closet. Speaking of Nordstrom: The store I always visit is at the Grove in LA and, for some funny reason, every time I visit, the grand clock tower always sounds at the top of the hour. As I walked out of the store after purchasing this coat, I immediately took in the incredibly large Christmas tree that they were putting up. Then, as the clock tower struck its beautiful tune, I was instantly transported back to my 8 year old self at my Granny’s house. I felt a strong longing for home and it was the first time I thought to myself that “it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.”
