Lorsque l’on m’a proposé de poser quelques questions à Kirsten Dunst à l’occasion de la journée de presse organisée à Paris pour promouvoir son statut d’égérie international des produits l’Oréal Professionnel, j’ai tout de suite pensé à ces nombreux articles lus dans la presse féminine, qui racontent ces fameuses journées où des journalistes venus du monde entier attendent avec fébrilité de pénétrer dans la sacro-sainte suite où siège une mystérieuse star…Et bien, figurez-vous que j’allais être à mon tour en plein dedans ! En temps normal, je ne m’intéresse guère aux célébrités, mais là Kirsten Dunst, c’est différent, j’avais un peu la trouille ! Faut dire qu’elle a joué dans nombre de mes films favoris (dont mon dernier favori en date, Melancholia), alors je partais d’avance très impressionnée. Heureusement pour moi, depuis mes expériences avec la télé japonaise, j’ai appris à ne plus stresser quand je dois interviewer quelqu’un (d’ailleurs, aujourd’hui dès que je suis dans une situation de « représentation » je me dit « dis toi que c’est comme la télé japonaise ! »). On a même été très pro avec Adeline et Alix, on avait nos questions et nos petites fiches, on se la jouait presque journalistes !

When I was asked to interview Kirsten Dunst during the press day organized for the launching of her collaboration with l’Oréal Professionel, I immediately thought of this numerous articles that I read in the feminine press, in which journalists from all around the world are anxiously waiting for their turn to enter the holy suite where a mysterious A-list celebrity is waiting for them…Well, this time I was going to be a part of it ! Usually, I’m not really interested in celebrities, but with Kirsten Dunst, it was different, I was kind of scared ! After all, she stared in many of my favorite movies (including Melancholia, my last big movie crush), so I was going to be very impressed to be in front of her. Hopefully for me, since I work with japanese tv, I learned to not stress when I have to interview somebody, famous or not, a new skill that helps me in so many situations now (when I’m socially afraid, I say to myself “pretend it’s japanese tv !”). We were even quite pro with Alix and Adeline, we had our prepared questions and notes, almost like we were journalists !

Quando mi hanno proposto di fare qualche domanda a Kirsten Dunst, in occasione della giornata dedicata alla stampa, organizzata a Parigi per promuovere il suo ruolo di ambasciatrice internazionale dei prodotti l’Oréal Professionnel, ho subito pensato ai numerosi articoli di stampa femminile, che raccontano queste famose giornate, in cui giornalisti di tutto il mondo, aspettano febbrilmente di essere ammessi al sacro cospetto di una stella misteriosa… Immaginatevi che ci sarei stata io, in mezzo a tutto ciò! In condizioni normali, non mi interesso affatto alle celebrità, ma con Kirsten Dunst sarebbe stato diverso, avevo un po’ di tremarella! Bisogna ricordare che lei ha recitato in molti dei miei film preferiti (fra cui l’ultimo dei miei prediletti, per data, Melancholia), quindi fin da subito ero piuttosto in soggezione.Fortunatamente per me, dopo le mie esperienze alla televisione giapponese, ho imparato a non agitarmi troppo quando faccio un’intervista a qualcuno (tanto che, adesso, quando mi trovo in un contesto in cui sono particolarmente “esposta”, dico a me stessa: “fingi che di essere alla TV giapponese!”). Tutto sommato, eravamo anche piuttosto professionali con Adeline e Alix, avevamo le nostre domande e i nostri appunti, quasi ci sentivamo vere giornaliste!

Bon, en réalité, avant d’entrer dans la suite où allait nous recevoir Kirsten, on en menait pas large. Moi j’en étais à mon troisième café d’afillée, et Alix venait tout le droit de l’aéroport (respect infini!). Avant que la porte ne s’ouvre, mon cœur était en train de danser la macarena, mais -vous allez trouver ça idiot- Kirsten était si belle et avenante que tout le stress s’est envolé ! Et pourtant je suis la première a être agacée quand je lis dans les magazines ce sempiternel article où on découvre qu’en fait la star est super belle et sympa, blablabla, mais là, faut bien avouer que c’était vrai ! Après tout, qui d’autre aurait pu nous confier rêver secrètement de se teindre les cheveux aux couleurs de « my little poney hair », adorer recevoir des beaux vêtements de designer, baver devant la coupe de Julie Christie et devant les bulles de champagne qui l’attendent dans quelques minutes ? En fait Kirsten est une fille plutôt simple, qui s’inspire de tumblr ou de pinterest, qui achète des fringues vintage dans les boutiques sympas de LA, qui est drôle et pétillante (si si!). Et comme une bonne groupie qui se respecte, désormais je rêve de ses cheveux ondulés dans la pub !

Actually, we were not that brave and pro before entering the suite where Kirsten was going to answer our questions ! I was drinking my third coffee in a row, and Alix was coming straight of a very long flight from somewhere far far away (infinite respect !). Before the door opened, my heart was beating like mad, but -you might find it silly- Kirsten was so beautiful and kind that the stress flew away ! And yet, I’m the first to sarcastic when I read in magazines that same paper about how the A-list star turned out to be so nice and friendly, but this time, I must admit that it was true ! After all, who else could have told us that she secretely wishes having “little poney” coloured hair , that she loves getting gorgeous designer clothes, and that she dreams of Julie Christie’s hair (and the champagne she’ll drink after the interview to celebrate the end of the day !). Actually, Kirsten is a quite down-to-earth girl, who gets inspred by tumblr or pinterest, who buys vintage clothes in cute LA shops, who’s funny and sparkling. And now, because I became such a groupie, I’m dreaming of her beautiful wavy hair in the commercial !

Bene, in realtà, prima di accedere alla suite dove avremmo incontrato Kirsten, non eravamo così baldanzose. Io ero al terzo caffè di fila, e Alix arrivava direttamente dall’aeroporto (massimo rispetto!) Prima che la porta si aprisse, il mio cuore stava ballando la macarena, eppure – voi penserete che sia una cosa da idioti – Kirsten era così bella e affascinante che tutto lo stress è volato via! Di solito sono la prima a restare basita quando leggo nei magazine, quegli articoli ripetitivi a proposito di come, in effetti, la star in questione sia bella e simpatica e blablabla, ma in questo caso ho dovuto rendermi conto che era davvero così! Dopotutto, proprio lei ci ha confidato che sogna segretamente di tingersi i capelli color Mio mini pony, che adora ricevere in regalo bei vestiti firmati, che sbava per il taglio di capelli alla Julie Christie, o al pensiero delle bollicine dello champagne, che l’attendeva di lì a poco. In realtà, Kirsten è una ragazza piuttosto semplice, che cerca ispirazione su tumblr o pinterest, che compra vestitini vintage in simpatici negozietti di LA, che è divertente e frizzante. E come ogni buona groupie che si rispetti, oramai sogno i capelli ondulati che sfoggia nella campagna promozionale!
