Leather shorts

Another hot summer day trying to survive by wearing the most exposed tank I could find.I got these faux leather shorts at Topshop last time I went. Not completely convinced by this pair of shorts but they serve their purpose of that “unexpected” leather touch. Thought I would throw in a shirt with a tail as well to liven things up even further. Shirts with tails can be either really weird or fun. Mostly weird but imperfection is always nice and not being “slightly off” feels boring to me. Speaking of weird… we had a few onlookers staring while we took the last photo of me trying to hold the sun. I wonder what they thought I was trying to do.. hmmm (deep thoughts brought to you by Francesca).

We’re supposed to go on a boat and enjoy the 80 degree weather tomorrow YES! I want to just soak up every day of Summer before it’s gone! Kind of miss being a teenager and having mom call me at all hours of the day: “You’re still at the beach?! Come home I don’t want you to be a beach rat!”. Funny thing is she said it like it was a bad thing? Granted I would actually wake up with sand in my sheets on some days. I know gross, #guilty. I can’t seem to fall asleep (hence the rambling about sand and whatnot) but I’m about to give it my best shot! Have a good weekend everyone!
