Black Magic Love

Probably the last time that I can wear something like this. It’s now getting chilly enough to where you can actually use pants and can’t leave home without a coat at night. I saw this dress on the Forever 21 Website a while ago and it immediately caught my attention. They did a pretty good job with the draping of the sleeves and the button front closure for that instant vintage effect. I wouldn’t actually wear this out like this with the tiny underwear (ok, I would if the high-waisted underwear was actually a skirt ), but I love how it looks for photos. I wanted to make sure you could see the amazing black lace. I envisioned the dress worn just like this: black platform shoes, dark purple lips and my cross necklace (which I doubled up to get the closest resemblance to a choker possible… almost there, but not really. For a more Fall look, I wouldn’t mind re-shooting this with a big Penny Lane coat on top. I have yet to find the perfect one though!! Welp, running around in the forest pretending that being in high platforms and a lace see thru dress is completely normal is always fun (completely impractical.. but keyword: fun). XO F
