Simple Favorites

Do you ever look through your favorites on Etsy and realize that you’ve subconsciously put together a pretty group? Like, you’re not making a treasury, you’re not hearting gift ideas, you’re just going about your life and all of a sudden you see your taste spelled out for you in picture form.

Happened to me yesterday and I had to show you:

pillow // mug // necklace // tote // chair // ring

If this isn’t a glimpse into my brain then I don’t know what is. Simple silhouettes, geometric patterns, and a little bit of sparkle. No bright colors, but still plenty of contrast. (Is it too soon to make this my visual Christmas list? I do come from a family of early shoppers…)

The only bummer is that the metal chair is for kids. I normally tend to ignore the “for children” design suggestion and use things wherever they look cool, but that thing is actually child-sized and I’m sad. I’ll eventually have a little who could sit on it, but I wanted it now and for myself. Le sigh.

Now, I do need to skedaddle off of the computer to finish getting ready for our garage sale tomorrow. I’ll have some tips for you next week, hopefully on Monday or Tuesday. I also owe you a post about the changes we did in the back yard, so that’s on my radar, too. I haven’t forgotten! Garage sale prep is just more time-consuming than I realized. (That will probably be one of the tips.) What are you up to this weekend? Have you subconsciously expressed your innermost desires via Etsy? What’s your favorite thing here? I literally cannot choose.
