Fabulous Room Friday 08.15.14

This week’s “Fabulous Room” is a graphic, black and white kitchen by Lindsay Coral Harper. I love the ampleness of the space and the juxtaposition of classic white cabinetry, marble countertops, and white subway tile against the geometric painted design on the floors. It’s an unexpected twist that gives the kitchen so much personality. The fact that all of the other selections within the room are traditional in style really allows the opportunity for going a little more bold with a few elements like the fabulous floors and the geometric fabric on the stools around the island.

{I love that Lindsay used a custom pelmet box in the breakfast nook. It adds interest, color, and pattern without obstructing the view. The pop of yellow from the French bistro-style chairs adds the perfect dose of color.}
