Holiday Entertaining with Horchow

It’s unbelievable that the holidays are upon us again. For weeks now, I’ve been thinking about what to do about our Christmas cards this year, decorations, client gifts, etc and we are just barely into November. But then again, anything worth doing well requires a little bit of planning. Horchow has become a source I frequently turn to for design projects. They have a great assortment of furniture, bedding, bath, and tabletop items, as well as a fantastic assortment of accessories. Their holiday selection is no exception, so I was thrilled when they asked me to put together a round-up of my favorite items for holiday entertaining.

The holidays are a time for family and friends and often evoke a sense of comfort and home, while simultaneously serving as an occasion for everyone and everything to shine a bit more brightly than usual! I have selected a group of items that are a bit of a dichotomy– they could work beautifully for everyday or at the holidays. There are classic, timeless items that work year-round like the ValPetro Flatware and Pewter Chargers, the Juliska Quotidien Dinnerware, Matouk Mirasol Table Linens, and for more casual occasions, the Monogrammed Paper Napkins and Guest Towels. The beautiful green and gold Magnolia Wreath and Moss Trees add a natural touch, while the gold Waterford Elysian Tray, Swarovski Star Candleholders, and Montpelier Champagne Flutes lend an element of glamour that echoes how meaningful this time of year is to so many. Just add some beautiful fresh flowers– huge bunches of hydrangeas, roses, or even carnations in white or red are perfect for the holidays and your table will be gorgeous and memorable!

What is your holiday entertaining style? Do you prefer a cozy, natural touch or do you go the glamorous, festive route?
