London Calling

I have to say that this is by far one of my absolute favourite outfits from this autumn time. A good trench coat is always essential, and this one hits the nail. Admittedly, it is actually my mom's, but she's a good sport when it comes to borrowing her clothing. This whole outfit feels incredibly English to me. I know it's quite cliche to say so, but whenever I see this Burberry print, a trench coat, a collar, and oxfords/brogues, I think England. I do take towards the English style more than anything else, so it makes sense that I find my outfit posts reminiscent of what I deem to be utterly English.
I've often wondered about styles in different countries, in terms of fashion, and although I seem to have this particular view on typical English style, I have no idea what I'd use to describe Canadian style, or any other country for that matter. Perhaps it's because I don't particularly take to what people wear around here, but I'm at a lack of descriptive words.
Anyways, let me know about the style in your city or country! I'm curious, and I want to know! If you're from England, am I being a total cliche right now or do you think trench coats, collars and brogues represent classic English style well?
