Shopping with Jane

When I was on maternity leave, my friend Kristen over at Love, Lipstick & Pearls introduced me to Jane.com. Our baby girls were born just a few days apart and we were always texting at the most random times of the day and night and she told me it was her new shopping addiction!

I checked out the site and of course, it became a guilty pleasure for me. I was still working on building my milk supply at the time…so what was I doing when I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to pump? I was shopping on Jane.

Jane is a daily deals site that offers everything from jewelry to clothing (for you and your kids!) to items for your home--- all at incredible discount prices. There are new items listed every day (and new temptations…can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing…) but with such great prices it's an affordable way to get some cute new items without breaking the bank.

I've purchased so many pretty items from Jane and recently they contacted me to send me a few new items to showcase the versatility of what they offer.
A selection of jewelry from Jane---the first set of earrings and both necklaces were purchased by me, the "H" earrings were gifted.
Both pairs of baby moccasins were gifted (love the mint ones---the pink ones don't fit Harper yet) and the knit shoes were purchased by me.
I absolutely love my monogrammed PJ's that were gifted by Jane- they are soft and comfy and the monogram and bow are the perfect touch. I purchased the felt flower baby headbands and the pillow covers myself. You can see all of my pillows in this blog post.
Of all the items I've purchased, I'd have to say that the jewelry and pillow covers are my favorite. I've purchased pillow covers from stores like West Elm and Crate and Barrel and they are so pricey. These are just as great quality and cost 1/3 of the price or less! I think I got most of my covers for $11-$15 a piece.

One thing I really appreciate about Jane is that they list the vendor name for each item and link to their etsy shop or website. That way, if I miss out on a deal or want to purchase other items from the same seller, I can. I think that is a huge benefit---you won't get the same low price as you do on Jane, but sometimes if you really want the item, it's nice to have that info available.

One thing that's tough sometimes is that items can take awhile to ship out---however, each listing tells you how long it will take, so that makes it easier to make a decision. It's kind of fun when your item arrives in the mail because by the time a few weeks pass you may have forgotten the shipping date so it's a nice surprise.

Have you heard of Jane? Let me know in the comments below! Happy shopping :)

FTC: I purchased items in this post with my own money and some were gifted by Jane, where indicated. I am not being compensated to write this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
