This Week 31

We have arrived in the middle of Summer and it is hot in The Netherlands. To match the weather I have finished two very summery projects I’d love to share with you. The knitted shawl to literally spark up your outfit with it’s subtle copper thread, and the flower stole to shine on your shoulders at weddings and cool Summer nights. Working hard on both patterns this week, let’s hope they’ll be finished soon!

In the mean time I love seeing some of you already finished your chunky doily, the group of granny squares from the Simply Crochet app is growing, and we are nearing the launch of my book PUUR haken; a week from now we will all know what it looks like in real life! I can’t wait for my copy to arrive and I’ll share images with you right away of course.

In the grouped images: some snap shots from a lovely visit to Wollstreet, a fabulous yarn shop in Sittard, Limburg. I’ll show the yarns I found there soon! And I can’t say anything just yet, but some exciting plans are in the making… so if you’re local, watch this space. Lunch at FEE concept store café in Sittard was just delicious and beautiful, a must see and eat for sure.
