Hello new week, getting darker and darker outside. Sinterklaas has arrived in the Netherlands and I even see the first snow popping up in my Instagram feed, Canadian friends stay warm!
Last Saturday I spent the most lovely afternoon with long time and new friends, celebrating a lovely crochet high tea with Puur Haken at the pretty Stephen Penelope yarn shop in Amsterdam. It was so good to be back for a day in the city where I studied, got married and lived for 11 years. I indulged in, among others, the beautiful Malabrigo and Quince & Co. yarns, good conversations and even some crocheting.
The past few days I worked on getting the pattern of the delicate version of these fingerless gloves up on the blog, it will be ready tomorrow for you!
On the calendar this week: being a true Christmas theme lover, I am trying to see if I can visit the Christmas fair in Den Bosch this week.
On Friday night November 21 I am excited to attend a lovely Ladies Night in Nuenen at the book store Boekhandel van de Moosdijk at 7pm, signing Puur Haken and chatting about crochet with you.
On Saturday November 22nd I am hosting the second recycle workshop at the Zinkenviool in Grootebroek, and this will also be the last official event of the Puur Haken Goes Local tour. I mean there are more events planned, no need to worry about that haha.
Wishing you a lovely week! xo
