Pinstripe Play

Feeling a little frisky and professional this Monday. Somewhere between morning meetings and not being quite ready to part with my weekend garb, I swapped my high-waisted jeans for a vintage pinstripe skirt.
Pinstripes; a new-new for me, as I'd ordinarily consider them to be strictly square, workplace attire, I've started adding them into my wardrobe to pair with moto-leathers, oversized knits, and some raised oxfords for some bravado.
You know I love a good spin on a Catholic School uniform. Can never seem to beat it; plaids, pinstripes, and gingham skirts are alternately my go-to when I just don't know what else to wear. Funny how uniforms, what you've grown up wearing, will follow you throughout the years. It's been well over a decade since Erin Lynn and I have strutted down the halls of Catholic School, rolling our skirts at the waist so the hemline would become shorter, knotting our oxford shirts to create a crop-top effect. My, how time doth fly.
Wearing: Topshop Top, Nasty Gal Jacket, Vintage Skirt, Missguided Shoes.
