mustard + navy on the long beach boardwalk ♥

On Friday afternoon Matt and I caught the last glimpse of the sun from the boardwalk, before packing and getting ready for our roadtrip to Montauk. NY has redefined the meaning of "roadtrip" for us. We used to spend 5 hours driving places upcoast in Florida, spend about 29 hours in said destination before turning the car around and heading home. In NY, the entire process is simplified. A quick 1-2 hour drive will take you to a place completely different from what you are used to. Everything is so accessible -- mountains, lakes, beaches, fall weather, leftover summer weather, anything! We have BIG eyes, and a huge sense of adventure, so we basically spend every week planning what to do for the next weekend. Every weekend is a trip - it's extremely fulfilling and exciting, and something i won't ever take for granted!
