Gudbrandsjuvet & Valldal

While driving from Trollstigen, through the mountains to Geiranger you pass so many amazing places where you just have to stop and take pictures. Two of these places are Gudbrandsjuvet (Gudbrand gorge) and Valldal.

The gorge is simply beautiful with lots of waterfalls and located right next to the road you are driving on so you cannot possibly miss it. The colour of the water is so blue and it’s a nice place to sit down for some coffee and cake.

Valldal is located a bit further down the mountain from the gorge and not so far from the second ferry crossing of this route. It’s a village with high mountains on each side, old Norwegian houses and a nice harbour. When the weather is good this place is so pretty and you can buy some food here as well and enjoy the sights before driving on.
