Paper Bag Journal

Have you heard of paper bag journals? I made mine with just three lunch bags that were folded in half and then stapled down the spine. An extended stapler was needed to reach the center.

When shopping for acrylic paint for the cover, I was very happy to find that Craft Smart makes a glossy paint now. It’s a big deal to me because I love how opaque acrylic paint is, but am always disappointed in how dull it usually gets after it’s dried. I sponge painted this cover and was so happy to see it keep its shiny look all the way through. This is not a paid endorsement, I’m just betting that there are other “glossy addicts” out there too that might like the tip.
