Rodial Super Acids
The Rodial super acids range includes every type of product for exfoliating, retexturing and protecting your skin to keep it looking healthy and at its best. The range is formulated with a selection of powerful resurfacing acids, enzymes and probiotic technology, to aid the exfoliation of dead skin cells and increase the rate of cell renewal.I tried out two products from the range, which were the x-treme pore shrink cleansing pads and the x-treme hangover mask.
The x-treme hangover mask £45 already had me hooked just on its name, who doesn’t need a hangover mask. I know for sure I do, my skin definitely looks its worst after a night of partying! The mask deeply cleanses with the help of the french kaolin clay to draw out any impurities. Whilst Pronanlen fruit acids gently exfoliate and retexture and brighten the skin. The mask also includes some age defying ingredients; argireline® hexapeptide smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and laracare® boosts moisture and improves the overall skin texture. The probiotic technology then helps to strengthen and protect the skin from external aggressions and boost hydration.
The mask was a nice texture and smoothed onto my skin really easily, it also has a fruity apple kind of smell which is really nice. Once applied I waited 5 minutes and let the clay work its magic. When I went to take it off was when I was slightly confused as you don’t rinse it off you just rub it, which I guess helps to exfoliate, this felt a bit weird at first but I was able to get the majority of it off then rinsed off the rest. Afterwards my skin felt lovely and soft and slightly brighter. I’d definitely use this mask again it is a great pick me up for the skin!
I also tried out the x-treme pore shrink cleansing pads £38, which sort of remind of a cleansing wipe but much more beneficial for my skin. There is 50 in a tub and they work in the same way, just take one and wipe it across your face morning and evening.
They removed all my make-up really easily which I was very impressed about and again have that delicious fruity apple smell which comes from the apple amino acids. These are blended with olive oil and salicyclic acid to deeply cleanse, whilst evermat® shrinks the appearance of pores and refines skins texture for a more toned appearance. I’ve only been using this for a week so far, so haven’t noticed a difference in pore size just yet, but I really like the way they make my face feel very clean and refreshed and it definitely feels more toned too and helped control a few spots I had appearing.
