Splish-Splash Candle Stand DIY

Went by a thrift store and didn’t need anything, but you always need something so I grabbed this 3€ candle stand as I had an idea. After I went by another store and got matching colourful candles and acrylic paint. After I went home, got sick, skipped work, took some brushes and made some splashes. I’s pretty easy yet stylish technique and a happy result, if you want you can do the same on a flower pot or if youre into monochrome just do it in black and white, works great too.

Prepare your work space, you don’t need any water for the acryl paint, but cover the table as it dries very fast.

You wont be needing much of colour, this here is absolutely enough, and do 1 colour first leaving some space for the next.

Oh yes, practice on paper first, check out what kind of brush strokes you want to proceed with before doing the real thing.

Don’t forget to cover absolutely all parts, from bottom to the top.

Of course it’s better to work in the light by the window so you can actually see what youre doing.

And yep picking cute candles that match with stand’s colours puts it right on the table of Princess Bubblegum of Candy Kingdom.
