MY GO TO SHOE

Isabel Marant Bekett Sneakers. Ehdottomasti yksi omista lempikengistäni kautta aikojen! Viime syksynä ja talvena, kun Converset ja muut ohkaiset kengät alkoivat käydä liian kylmiksi, pelastivat Bekettit mut moneen otteeseen. Sama on pätenyt tänäkin syksynä.

Monen mielestä tämä malli on “so last season”, toisia kenkien ulkonäkö puolestaan ei miellytä muuten vaan lainkaan. Itsekin lämpenin näille aikoinaan hitaasti (kuten niin monelle muullekin jutulle), mutta sitten kun ihastus vihdoin iski, iski se myös lujaa. Sen jälkeen en ole saanut Bekettejä irti mun jaloista. Tämän takia päätinkin hankkia kokomustien Bekettejeni kaveriksi samat vielä toisessakin värissä. Nämä vihertävän rusehtavat Marantit ovat sävyltään Taupe. Vihertävä kenkä tuo kivaa vaihtelua kaikkien mustien kenkäparien keskelle ja muutenkin toimii sopivana väripiristeenä asuissa. Mä olen tykännyt yhdistää näitä eniten beigejen takkieni, harmaiden neuleiden ja collareiden kanssa, mutta ne tuovat myös kivasti piristystä kokomustiin asuihin.

Vaikka voinkin luottaa Maranteihini lähes tilanteessa kuin tilanteessa, on mulla silti ikuinen täydellisen mustan nilkkurin metsästys käynnissä. Monet sanovat, että istuvien farkkujen löytäminen on hankalaa. Totta sekin, mutta niin on nilkkurienkin! Viimeeksi eilen illalla dinnerille suunnatessani olisin kaivannut fiinipää touchia asuuni korollisten nilkkureiden myötä.. Mutta ei. Täydellisten mustien korollisten (mutta silti kävelymukavien) nilkkureiden, joissa ei ole liikaa yksityiskohtia (eikä hintaa) etsintä siis jatkukoon.

Isabel Marant Bekett Sneakers. Definitely one of my favorite shoes of all time. Always when the time comes that my Converse and other lighter shoes become too light for the cold weather, I take out my Marants. The same has been the case this fall season too.

Many people think that this model is “soo last season”, others just don’t like how the shoes look like. It also took me a while to start liking them (I’m sometimes a little slow when it comes to trends), but when I finally learned to like them, I liked them hard. After that we’ve been inseparable with my Marants. This is why I decided to purchase another pair in another color in addition to the black one I already had. I went for this greenish beige color called Taupe. Nice change for the black pair – and all the other black shoes in my closet! The greenish shoe bring a nice pop of color to my outfits and works well together with all my beige coats, grey knits and swetshirts and also is a nice add to an all black outfit.

Although I can trust my Marants in almost any occasion, I’m still on the hunt of the perfect black ankle boots. Many say that it’s hard to find a well-fitting pair of jeans. True that too, but I say it’s the same thing with ankle boots! Just yesterday evening I would’ve needed a pair to make my dinnetime outfit complete – but no. The hunt of the perfect black heeled (but still so that you can actually walk with them) ankle boots which don’t have too much details (nor too high price) continues..
