Weekend Rewind 62 | The power of magic days

It’s no surprise that I’ve had a bit of a shitty week. Well, shitty is probably too strong a word, we’re talking more like a pus-y week. A snotty week? A phlemy week? Anyway, I’m clearly not myself.

As the world so often does, I found solace in the wisdom of Dolly Parton.

I also found solace in getting out and about, taking the sculpture by the sea walk with the family late on Saturday afternoon, eating pizza on the beach and scrambling back up the hill with full bellies. That was a magic day.

Other things that had me this week:

ReadingThe Last Summer of the Camperdowns by Elizabeth Kelly. So fabulous I read it cover to cover when I should have been doing many other things. I reckon we should make it a Pink Fibro Bookclub book, Al…
Writing – a plan for our trip to Mullum this week. Yay! Magic days coming up!
Making – a mess of things, mostly.
Wishing – I wasn’t so darn sensitive.
Loving – my husband.
Wondering – how much longer this snotty, phlegmy, pus-y fug is planning to hang around. I’m hoping to drive over it on our way to Mullum.

Happy reading.
