KBShimmer Holiday Nail Polishes for Winter 2014 Swatches & Review

Ever had a collection scream your name? I feel like KBShimmer really had my number for this winter/holiday season. They somehow made every shade I have perfection…I suspect they employ hard-working elves.

PR Sample.

Some of these shades are past favorites while some are brand new. Since I didn’t have any of the throwback shades, I wanted to add them to this post! I only have 6 of the 17 shades from the KBShimmer Winter 2014 Collection to show you right now but hopefully there will be more KBShimmer goodness in the near future for me because these were all fantastic! More photos & my thoughts below!

KBShimmer Pine-ing For Yule: 2014 Toys For Tots ® charity polish. A holiday inspired glitter top coat, this polish is swimming with holographic triangle “Christmas Trees” and red star tree toppers. Sliver holo hex and micro glitters complete this wintery polish. For each bottle sold at KBShimmer.com from 11/01 until 12/25 $4 will be donated to Tots For Tots ®. 1 Coat Recommended.

Is there anything more fantastic than actual artistic Christmas trees on my nail polish? NO! I dabbed this over Zoya Willa.

KBShimmer Too Cold To Hold (Texture): A rich sapphire blue base is filled with holographic sliver, blue, and green holographic glitters for a bejeweled textured look. 2 Coats Recommended

This texture isn’t as rough as many of my others & I actually added top coat for my photos. The complex glitter composition is simply entrancing- the touch of red really takes it over the edge for me. 2 easy coats over Zoya Prim.

KBShimmer Deja Brew: Like a rich cup of java, or a quality cognac, this brown polish has red undertones that set off the linear holographic rainbow. 2-3 Coats Recommended

A red toned holo brown. Gorgeous & easy to apply. Seen here in 2 coats.

KBShimmer Spot Sign: Like a wild cat ready to pounce, this spotted polish is ready to bring out our wild side. Black leopard spot shaped glitters are accented by black dots, small black hexes and micro holographic sparkle. 1 dabbed on Coat Recommended, Glitter Placement may be needed.

This glitter is crazy unique- instant leopard print with a dash of holo? Yes please. The added spots really make this polish work. I dabbed the glitters over Gabriel Cashmere.

KBShimmer Kringle All The Way: A glitter top with circle glitters in red, green, and silver. 1 Coat Recommended

These circle glitters are possibly my favorite thing ever. I love the way they catch the light! 1 coat then some dabbing over Gabriel Petrol Blue.

KBShimmer Sugar Plum Faerie: A soft plum violet crelly with berry, purple and lime colored metallic holographic glitters in different sizes. 2-3 Coats Recommended

As far as I’m concerned- the pop of lime totally makes this polish a favorite. I’m a sucker for an awesome purple glitter! This is 2 easy coats over Zoya Haven.

I’m definitely not getting anywhere close to picking a favorite here! You can see the entire KBShimmer Winter 2014 nail polish offerings on their website here. Each shade retails for $8.75. What is your favorite shade? What color combos scream holidays to you? Any KBShimmer shades I need to get my hands on ASAP since I’m clearly on a craze?
